2014 build Volvo OEM contactless throttle body. Volvo started copying xemodex in 2014 and used a Hall effect throttle position sensor in their revamped ETMs. This fits and is a hot swap plug and play on anything with a turbocharger built from 1999-2002. If you have an etm car this is the fix for a worn out or failing throttle body. You do not need to program the throttle body or your vehicle.

$100 plus shipping.

The picture of the sensor that says VOLVO not Magneti Marelli is a contactless type design.

When removed from a car, has software already. The only time you need software is a true virgin module that has no programming whatsoever. The dealer loves to make extra money for doing nothing.

Good morning !
I am French with an S60 2001 2.4T with ETM problem ...

When I bought the car, the previous owner gave me an additional ETM with a Volvo sensor.
It looks a lot like the one on your post of Feb 12, 2019

Are your sure it's plug n play ETM ? I can drive safety ?
Sorry my english is realy bad ...

Merci de France.

Hello ! I swapped the etms, the car is running.
But my worries continue ... when I drive no worries if I start cold. if I take a long trip or start hot, the idle is unstable and sometimes it stalls. the worst is when I release the throttel pedal, the engine kicks (injection or ignition off ??) hard. the spark plugs are recent, the coils are new and the crankshaft position sensor too. The OBD tool say juste p0121. And the car says nothing.

Thanks a lot for tour Time !

That code is for accl pedal.

Engine kick is likely aggravated by worn out engine mounts.

Yes - do an eBay search for Volvo and the part number you want: 36050564 for non-turbo, 36050563 for turbo, 9186793 for S80. Verify the fitment before buying and be smart about selecting the part because lots of people advertise a part under different part numbers. Also - call your dealer to find out about their inventory and the cost t program if it is needed.
