The car is up in Canada near Victoria BC. I gather it needs to have the instrument cluster ("drivers information module") swapped to a USA version by a Volvo Dealer / Volvo Certified shop-with documentation to prove it-before it can be legally imported and registered down here. (Hopefully just about any cluster from any USA 850 would do the trick?)

I've been in touch with the seller for a few weeks. He's changed his asking price thrice in the time it's taken me to try and figure out import / shipping but I'm definitely still trying to get it! So everybody else back off :angryfire:

FWIW Kelly is a budget tire made by Goodyear...quality wise, they work. Had a set on the 96 Grand Am GT, did pretty well in 3 ft Nebraska snow drifts.

That's funny though, they used to be 'Kelly Springfield' tires. Back in the day, when I was a young laddie (the prehistoric '70's ), the discount auto parts stores used to sell them.
When you wanted to put "60's" (or even "50's") on your hot rod, and you didn't have two nickels to rub together, you usually could at least afford a set of Kelly's .

Hard to tell without seeing good pics of the front seats. Rear seats often look decent on old cars if they're rarely used.
