09/05/2025 - Update, time as come for me to officially part ways with this car. My sister has been driving it for the past couple of years but bought a new car and I no longer have the need for it. I'll be completely honest, mechanically the car is in pretty rough shape. It still runs and drives but needs quite a lot of service in my opinion. Exterior is a little bit worse now then the pictures but overall mostly the same. I'm happy to take new photos if someone is actually interested.
Mileage is currently at 292,XXX

I've decided it's time to sell my 1996 850 Platinum. I was originally planning on doing a build on the car when I first bought it but decided to go a different direction.
Quick Facts:
I bought this car back in September 2022 from a gentleman who had acquired it recently from the original owner. The car would not pass smog due to the fact that it was burning oil from worn-out valve stem seals. So the gentleman I bought it from had the cylinder head completely rebuilt along with replacing the PCV system, rebuilding the turbo, water pump, timing belt, and a couple of other smaller things. The car passes smog now with no problems.
I haven't done much to it under my ownership because the car hasn't really needed anything. For almost a 30-year-old car I think it drives very well. The engine is smooth and still makes good power. There are a few dents and dings on the hood of the car but the rest of the car is very clean. The Interior is worn in a few areas but again I think it's pretty nice considering the mileage. I also have a pretty extensive collection of service records dating all the way back to 1995 that the original owner kept. The only known "issues" that I can think of are the heater core is currently bypassed, the passenger side headlight is chipped so it fogs up sometimes but still works fine, and the headliner is sagging a bit in the back.
