XC90 - ECM-135F Mass air flow sensor - signal too low

Hi, I'm new to the forum. so hello.
I have a 210 XC90 D5 diesel.

I have the dreaded Error of ECM-135F Mass air flow sensor - signal too low.
When it happens I have a breath loss of powers and error appeal on the dash.

I have had the following done:
Two smoke tests
Replaced the Mass air flow sensor.
Also had this replaced about 2 months ago (see attached picture)

Can anyone shed any light on what else could be wrong please?
