Driving through winter storm Franky in Western PA today was a breeze in the Nokian shoe’d CC. The storm dropped over 10 inches in some areas with drifting even higher, and minimal road service out. we even made it through several country roads that had yet to see a plow. Could barely tell road from field, but the CC’s ground clearance combined with the amazing grip of the Nokian’s was unstoppable. Skid’s were predictable and easily controlled with traction control and abs kicking in where needed. Winter tires really do make all the difference.

I have nokians on both my trucks (XC90 and Tacoma). The Tacoma has the studded version and if nokians are 10x better than anything else on the road, try the studded ones, they are in a separate league!

But I agree tires make all the difference
