The wheel shoud fit. What is more improtant is the size of the tire you plan to mount on it. Rubbing on the inside of the wheel well liner is a distinct possibility if the tire is too wide.

No. +35 will stick out about 10mm to far. I have 19x8.5 +45 and thats about as far as you can go. A +48-50 would be better.

 

So I have that same question I have a 2014 s60 tho not R design and I want to install some new rims. would 19X8 in front and tire size 235 40 R19 and in the rear 19X8.5 with 245 40 R19 would that fit perfect in my car ??? Maybe I could go with a thiner tire 35 instead of a 40 ? Please guys let me know !! Thanks

 

Depends on offset. 19x8.5 +45 with 245/40 rubbed bad on the rear. Fit on the front at stock height. James car which is lowered they did not fit on the front either.

19x8 +ET42, 245/35-19 has been proven to fit with similar to H&R drop (KPAX GT6).

Tire rack is saying that a 19x8.5 +ET45 rim will work with a 235/40, so probably a 245/35 will work also, but a 245/40 is too much sidewall.

 

I'm thinking of trying a set of the Focus RS wheels which are 19x8.5 +60's.

 

Same bolt pattern and bore..hopefully no rubbing inside. I like the design. You going 245/35?

245-40-19 summer tires on 19x8.5 will not fit

might fit not lowered but mines lowered about 1.5" all the way around fronts where on the fender the rears had a little more room but still had to be rolled

Your offset and tire selection is off; appears your rims are even beyond the fenders. Should be 245/35's and +ET45-50 right? Tire Rack shoes 45mm for most of their recommended 8.5" rims.

 

 

had to go with 235-35-19 instead but all seasons

tread patterns and blocks are different between summer and all season, i would love to have summer tires

 

That's why I think the RS wheels might work for a more aggressive tire. They are set in 15mm more.

 

So it's confirmed wheel size 19x8.5 will fit our stock Volvo S60 with 235 40 19 tire and might rub with 245 35 19 ...???

Nothing less than the ET45mm offset though. 235/40-19 or 245/35-19 should work.

 

just installed 18 x 8.5 jj with 35ET on my Drive E T5 today, very good looking rims with slightly protruding tyres, but doesn't rub the fenders so far!

 

way wrong offset! should be 45-50. makes for a good off-roader look though...

 

a 245-40-19 all season tire should work

keep in mind the tire tread blocks are different from each brand and type of tire.

a 245 series tire width could be different from a goodyear to a toyo

especially where talking mm in clearances.

also the car looks so much better when lowered from the 4x4 mode =>

 

with 19x8.5 et35 you will be fine in the front with 245/40
