Hi
Does anyone tried to fit any wheels except for the original ones?
I'm looking for 21" or maybe 22"
I will use the 20" that comes with the car on the winter.

Hi there, new member or more registered member I would say.
Look´s like we are from the same city, Trollhättan when i did some investigation regarding your licensplate. Awesome clean look with those rims.
I´m thinking of do the same as you have done. How is it with the chassi responding and the feeling on the road because SPA1 is known to be senitive, especially R-design.

You guys keep blowing me out of the water with these great tire and wheels combo!!! This is my first Volvo and I thought my choices of wheels would be limited (which by the way are) but you've given me some inspiration (no pun intended). My other vehicles have way more choices. What are your wheel and tire specs?

A bit off topic, but has anyone mounted wheel spacers on S/V60 Polestar Engineered, with 20" wheels (ET45,5)? As I have those in summer and 19" in winter (ET42), in my opinion winter wheels sits better than summer, despite of 10mm wider summer tyre. Yeah, with that wider tyre, summer set is wider but the wheel itself is too far in, in my opinion. 10mm spacers would make it perfect, I think. In Finland, those are not legal...but if I would go for black set, no one would ever notice. Has anyone any pics of original Polestar wheels with 10mm spacers?

Hi
Our cars are a quite sensitive for bad balance, isch.. So, it's a must to have spacers with steering both to rim and disc!! Then maybe, it will work. With 10mm+ bolts of cause!!
Placement will most certainly work.
My wheels last year was 255/30-21" on 9x21 et38,5. Se picture. Worked just fine.
Your tire will be 2mm inward, compared to mine. So, no problems 👍🙂

I got onto this because I bought XC90 21 inch wheels for my 2020 T8 S90 R design. I ordered 245/35/21 tires for it (that are in transit). After looking at it closer, i realized you cannot put 21s on a T8 S90 because of the weight index. I currently have the stock 19" on my 2020 V60 with snow tires. I was just going to transfer the S90 R design wheels to the V60 for summer. Now I am either out $3000 for the lack of homework, or try to put the 21s on the V60. Looks like it needs 30 profile to keep the speedo accurate but it may work. Ill post a pic next week if i have any luck. The S60 series look really good on 21s in this thread!!

Got them on today. Ride quality seems unchanged. Again these were bought for the S90 which requires the 35s VS the 30s which looks like everyone else uses. 245/35/R21 on 2018 XC90 Inscription wheels. I believe it was +38 bs. Looks better than I thought, but the V60 is a long car so it works. This is the Momentum with stock suspension...and City Weave interior 👌

Hi.
Looking very nice 👍
Those rims has been on my mind for many years!! So glad I finally get to se them on one 60-car 🙂
Mackan if you se this.. Absolutly one tips for Your red car. If you absolutely want's black and polished rims, look at this modified ones... 😎 Dare to be different. But pick the 255/30 instead. Your car is lower than above one. Less space in your wheelhouse..
Nice weekend to you all 🌞

I did see those tires on tire rack in hindsight. I am quite surpised that I went from 19s to 21s and didnt notice a difference in ride except potholes hit harder. My speedo is off a very small amout at highway speeds and the car doesnt care.
In terms of acceleration and handeling...hmm I buy Volvos for other reasons. Climate is going to be a much larger factor in efficiency than heavier wheels. My S90 battery hardly adds any benefit in the cold....just dead weight at 20 below.
