What's the most you have packed in your roof box? I'm on the fence about getting that or the Space Design. Do you have any other pictures of it packed.
No its not packed yet! But dont get the SpaceDesign... Its too high and after months of investigation it looks like a spaceship has landed on your roof. Get the VOLVO one like me or get PACKLINE SKIGUARDUSA or something else that sits low!!

Investigate the "liters" they hold...they are not cheap I know. [emoji17]

I am 6'3" and I could lay in mine and close it easily[emoji1363] Took my mother in law last week on a ski-trip [emoji48]... Lotsa space up there...

(SpaceDesign is the same as THULE with a VOLVO sticker as you may know already)

The price is 1000€ in Germany. CrossingCountries, do you think your dealership ships to Germany? I would definitely get one of they did!

The answer: you are not gonna believe this. I should have ordered at least 50 of these boxes here in Spain! Barcelona VOLVO just called me to ask me what I paid for the box with them. I know them very well and I confirmed with them €636! Didnt understand the question and found it a bit awkward. Turns out VOLVO Spain had just updated their pricelist for 2017 and my roofbox now costs...hold on to your hat;

€1500!!!!!!

Can you believe this. I am 100% convinced now they never noticed this ridiculous low price in Spain since all other EU countries had the same expensive price between €1200-€1400. Guess I was lucky for once buying OEM stuff. Hope this answers your question. Should have arranged it for you in 2016. But isnt this crazy? A price INCREASE of over €800. Could have been a rich boy by now. OMG

Negative, that looks like you are carrying a fat dead body to a funeral somewehere. Pardon my French, I appreciate your input but it looks terrible. But at the end of the day its all a personal opinion. Thanks MDsteve.

We own this box https://www.thule.com/en-us/us/cargo-carrier/car-top-carrier/thule-sidekick-_-682000 and use it on my wife's Civic. I haven't put bars on our V60 yet, so I'm not sure how it will look on there. I really don't want to have to store two boxes in our garage. I guess I can live with the funeral director look for the handful of times a year we need it.

I have an old rocketbox. I'm thinking about plasti dip or something. It's a good size and not as awful as this Thule one you posted. Was also free from a neighbor.

Dear run, we need to talk for a bit; with all due respect and I am not, I say again, NOT sarcastic but... you realy have this box planted on top of your car? Realy? But why? If you are putting this on your V60 I will send you money for an upgrade. [emoji35]I do not allow you.

Consider something like this, you dont need to store it,... boxes look nice all year 'round

Remember as far as storing;

"...Norwegians are the most discerning people on earth when it comes to roof racks. Not that I claim it - Norwegians themselves do as in this article. But I can prove it true. In no country I have seen so many cars with rooftop boxes as in Norway. Probably one in every 10 cars has a stylish box fitted to the roof.

Norwegians themselves also claim that many among them drive around with the rooftop boxes mounted all the year round, just because of the looks. Also true - in Norway you can see lots of cars with no load on the rear seats (and presumably none in the trunk either) and only one person inside, but still with a rooftop box mounted.

So as the self-proclaimed most loving country for roof boxes in the world, Norway is the perfect environment to watch one rooftop boxes war - the one being waged between Thule and Packline.

Yes, besides the huge proportion of cars with roof boxes, the second thing you'll notice when in Norway is that the locals adore the low-height and sleek rooftops made by Packline, a brand whose boxes are famous for its length, width and low profile"

But we are not from there I guess [emoji21]
