I have the instruction booklet, Volvo literature # for it appears to be 5929963...anyway send me a PM & I can scan it into a pdf for you tomorrow...as a side note you will need the 2 plastic insert pieces for it to work & guide the hole drilling if they aren't present in the side trim of the cargo area

It is dead simple to do without the templates. Color the rubber bumpers that will be inserted into the eventual holes with some sort of marker or colored chalk. Compress the cover and line it up where you are going to install it. Let the cover expand which will leave marks on the plastic molding where you will then drill holes. Remove everything and look at the marks. Find a drill bit the is the right size and drill the holes, be careful not to go too far as I have no idea what might be behind the trim.
The other way to do it would be with a template you make yourself. Use a measuring tape.
