I took delivery of a 2024 XC60 Recharge three weeks ago. It came with 2.14.4. Not 2.14.3. No idea what the differences are.

I have no frame of reference, never had a Recharge before. But B-mode seems pretty danged aggressive to me. I like it.

Car has been flawless all the way around, including electronics. Not a single glitch of any kind, unlike my 2023 early on. AAOS is 100% stable for me so far. Knock on wood…

A grumble for us with the 2023 was the lack of compass in mirror. Not a big deal w/me because I have the Compass complication on the face of my Apple watch. But wife has not been real happy about it. It was a nice surprise to see that there is now a compass in the upper left part of the map display on the center screen. Wife pleased.
Not a fan of decontenting but also never missed the compass in mirror. Looks cleaner without. As others have suggested they should just stick it in the info display

Hello. Do you guys know if they're going to be any updates this month? Thank you!
I would expect a new one within a couple weeks or so (at least just the notes). The updates are generally about 5-6 weeks apart.

Having a background in Sustaining Engineering in OS services interim patch releases like 2.14.4 seldom offer any additional functionality instead they offer fixes against the most severe bug issues reported and capable of disrupting the entire system. LED lights flashing? I can only assume somehow that code section needed to be rewritten most likely for future products but logically to me makes little sense. General releases such as 3.x will have all current patch releases plus the addition of new features and product support. Also most older products will not get additional features since many of those are tied to new hardware or circuit design. New features also offer incentives to justify buying newer products in our case cars.

2.14.4 fixes a minor bug in the TCAM module identified in testing after the OTA release of 2.14.3.
Just to help others like me that did not know what a TCAM is here is a paste from a website with a brief description. Thank you for providing the information.

"The TCAM is Volvo's Telematics and Connectivity Antenna Module, it essentially the device that houses and controls the various connectivity radios inside the Polestar 2. This includes GPS, DATA, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and key fob connection."

It's unbelievable that Volvo has had a TCAM problem for two years and constant updates haven't helped

Maybe the children from kindergarten write the program for them
The major issues have been solved from what I’ve been told. Bugs are inevitable, however. The limited information I’ve seen indicates this TCAM bug did not affect US or Canadian models.
