Has anyone replaced the drivers side sun visor on their XC90. We have a 2004 XC90 and the drivers side sun visor does not stay up when not in use. I have checked online for installation instructions but have found nothing for this car.

Not sure if I can do this myself or take it to the dealer. Cost for a new visor w/Homelink is about $325.

thanks.

Just watched that. Not sure if the visor pulls out from the arm. I will check when I get home.

Thanks for the link.

I replaced this myself recently for the same reason. It's very easy, especially with the assistance of my 9-year-old daughter, and it took just a few minutes. Rather than pay for the visor with the homelink, I got a visor without it, which was about $100.

I got a used one w/Homelink and had my Indy mechanic put it in. (I'm mechanically challenged....ie:doofus)

I don't remember how much it was. Guessing <$200

wish i had seen that video. that is about the limit of my skillz. I had velcro strips and blue tape all over the place
