Sticking seat belt buckles

My seat belt buckles are "sticking" and are not releasing the seat belts easily. It seems that the button is not releasing the belt when fully pressed. I've never experienced this in any other car so I'm not sure what the issue is.

Before I go crazy with the dry lube, has anyone else experienced this and what was your fix?

So I cleaned the buckle internals with electrical contact cleaner and it seems to have resolved the issue.

Did you take it apart or just spray it inside? I have one doing this same thing?

Sprayed inside and worked it around with the seat belt. I think there was a build up of dirt or grease that was preventing the release button from fully disengaging the belt

The buckles started sticking again so I used dry lube this time. Immediate improvement but I'll report back if it doesn't last.

+1 for the dry stuff, I just gave mine a quick shot of this and it's back to normal after a couple cycles
