I am working with a guy who is going to help me integrate steering wheel control into my CarPC. Does anyone know the bus speed of our networks, specifically the LINBUS over which the steering wheel controls communicate?

I want to say 250kbit/sec but not positive.

Check with Lucky to confirm, but early cars were 250 KB on low speed Can, with 500 KB on high speed CAN - ECU/ECM, while later cars were supposedly 500 KB on low speed CAN, and 1 Meg on high speed can. ('04 and later cars for the higher speed?) Don't know about the LINBUS.
