We've been McKevitt customers for over 14 years. Very happy, great service!

 

I also bought three cars from McKevitt, but that's when Steve Carlton was there. He moved to Walnut Creek.

 

What is the best dealer for maintenance XC90? Looking for the dealer which has great mechanics!

I've had several maintenance and warranty work done at the SJ autonation dealer and I find that they're mediocre for service, no bad experiences yet. Their callback system doesn't work so I ended up having to find direct numbers to call to get service updates.

I wish I can go to the other dealers but I live in SJ and it's just too far during rush hour.

 

Used Volvo Palo Alto both for buying last year and the first service last month. So far no complaints. Everything went smoothly.

 

Who was your service adviser? Mind providing it here or via PM? I'm looking to getting a few things fixed, and haven't decided on Burlingame, Palo Alto, or San Jose.

 

Can you guys recommend a salesperson at Burlingame?

 

Just curious about service cost difference among those locations?

I am thinking to get the foldable hitch system installed and wonder if different deal will have different price?

 

Given that traffic isn't much of an issue now, I might cross-shop service between my indy shop and McKevitt or Palo Alto. Can advisor recommendations?

 

Check if McKevitt's renovation is done or not. They were operational during the renovation at the end of last year fwiw. Probably looks nicer now.

 

Steve Carlton is now at SF Volvo. Previously at Walnut Creek and McKevitt's in San Leandro (which has finished construction). Steve was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and all-around pleasant to work with.

 

I worked with him on my V60 last month. Great salesperson, he helped me lock in the June incentives even though my car was delivered in July.

 

Thanks y'all! Does Mckevitt offer Volvo loaners or do they send ppl to a rental?

 

If you call ahead of time, they can see if the loaners are available.

 

When I bought in 2017, no one would deal with me. I bought at San Diego Volvo with 4K off msrp and then paid $400 to ship.

I have also been using McKevitt for the last 6 years and had a great experience. I leased a new V60 from them in 2015 (from Steve Carlton), and I also use them for service for my leased 2017 V90CC. They also bring a loaner to my house every time I needed service (one of their salespeople and service manager live 5min from my house).
