I like that the E-class lights are all themed and not just a few dinky lights in the roof.

It would be nice if there were actual themes involved. Like a sunset theme that made the normal mood lights orange, the door LED strips a different shade, etc. Instead they're called "theme colors" and its bleh.

Really? I find the strips in the new E and A class horribly crass and gimmicky and seemingly a scene out of Boogie Nights.

 

That's because it's a hideous shade of purple. If it was the nuanced orange you get in the Volvo, it would look much better.
