Hello,

My repairman just finished a "Space SPTD 2 WIFI CCD" wheel alignment on my S80 classic (2002).

But car definitely pulls right.

I attach the wheel aligment values:

Maybe there is some problem with the values?

I already replaced: Wishbone arms, Shock absorber (front, back), Strut mount (front back), and I have brand new tyres. So I think It may a setting issue.

Do this test before another alignment check. Driving straight, is the steering wheel centered? If not, the front toe is off. Tire toe is like pulling a wagon with a handle. Moving the handle slightly left or right the wagon goes in that direction. If the steering wheel is off center and the car drives straight, toe is off. Let go of the steering wheel, if all good, it should drive straight for 200 or more feet. The rear wheels have toe adjustment also. If the rear toe is off center you will have to compensate by turning the steering wheel some in the opposite direction. New tires should not have this issue, broken internal belts can cause the car to pull. Alignment done, suspension is OK, rotate front tires left to right, if pulls to the other side, faulty tires. Sometimes rotating the front left to right will correct the pulling.

A proper alignment includes a road test by the technician after the alignment is performed for the technician to verify the steering wheel is centered and the car drives straight. If the technician finds something is not right on that road test, he goes back on the alignment rack and makes adjustments so that the car drives straight down the road with a centered steering wheel.

That is what you paid for. They need to fix it.

A wheel alingment is what it is. Nothing more, nothing less. There is just not that much that can be adjusted. In front its toe and camber on the S80. Everything else is either wear, damage or is what it is. And no workshop does a test drive after just an alignment if there is no specific reason for it. If the car pulls, its most probably a different problem.

looking at the data for the front: Toe seems fine. camber seems fine. caster a bit off but should be within toleransens.

To troubleshoot the problem, first check tire pressure and adjust to even pressure if needed. Then switch wheels left to right and see if it now pulls to the other side. Also check if all wheels spin freely.
