I'm looking for a cargo net like this for my XC60. It doesn't look like Volvo offers a cargo net in this style.

Has anyone fitted a cargo net like this to their XC60? I think there are attachment points on either side for the lower end of the net, but I'm not sure that there are attachment points for the upper end of the net.

Any ideas?

I'm sure I can find a net from another SUV of similar width that will work, but my problem is that the lack of the upper attachment points for either side of the net. Does the XC90 have a net like this available?

Twindy, do you think you could get a picture of your net in use? I can't quite picture it.

Thanks T5. I did see that in the accessories catalog. Any idea what the price would be for that? I'm betting it's $500 whereas a cargo net from a CR-V or similar can be had for ~$30.

Thanks for the responses.

I have the nets that attatch to each side in the rear area and one small one on the passenger side of the front center console. The mechanic at the Volvo dealership
suggested that I simply use small self achoring screws for the rear (he attached the front net at no charge) and assured me at 1/4" there would be no problem. I did so and it has worked fine. Secure enough to hold loose items and works fine.

They come with mounting hardware which worked fine for the small net up front. However, the mechanic at the dealership said it would take hours to take the rear panels off and make certain
that the long mounting screws did not hit any wires. He then suggested that I just get some 1/4" self anchoring screws and assured me that there would be no problem with hiting any wires.
I did so and they have been fine. Mind you, I just use them to stop small items from sliding around and to help organize so there's not a lot of weight involved.

I had a oem Honda cargo net similar to what you pictured. It was crap and didn't last. It didn't work well in that vertical mode, either. I personally wouldn't buy another one.
BMW luggage nets (had 2 - 3 series and X5) held up wonderfully, but the ones I had were 4-point (flat on the floor) and could not be deployed vertically. I think the newer ones can be used folded up vertically - you can often find those on ebay.

If I can ever figure out a way to solidly mount the upper attachment points, I'll go with a net from a manufacturer other than Honda. Thanks for the tip.

The OEM nets in this style in my parents' vehicles (Subaru and Ford) seem pretty well made so I'll likely go with one of those.
