Pcv valve replacement

Hi i had my pcv valve replaced but after changing it when i got home the check engine light comes on. So i bring it back to the mechanic and let them check the codes and clear it. The codes were for map sensor, they say its because they had to disconnect some wires maybe the computer doesn't liked it and trigger some codes. I have no prior check engine light before replacing the pcv valve, now even clearing the check engine light it comes back again and again.. can i get some help? My car is volvo s40 2007.

What engine do you have. Turbo, non-turbo.
VIDA list the following possible engines for your market.
The MAP sensor in the pic is for a US spec 5-cylinder non-turbo located on top of the intake manifold.
If the same in the pic, check the connector and wiring for being pinched.

I did unplug and reconnect the sensor in the picture. It stall on idle and now the rpm is lower than before. Btw it is non turbo B5244S4 2.4i

Oh im sorry i don't have any scan tool for me to know what the codes are. I just refer to what the mechanic told me.

ok, aside from checking connectors, wiring, etc., which is standard for troubleshooting, codes help to direct internet readers as to where to go for further investigation.
