2019 S60 threw a parking brake fit a few months ago and the ONLY service facility available is doing their best according to Volvo direction and advice.
So far the wiring has been checked, both parking brake motors replaced and software upgraded several times. Nothing...
Other things quit working when this type of failure happens such as the cruise control. Not neat.

Anyone had a similar issue or advice?

No experience with this particular issue, but if it involves otherwise apparently unrelated systems... in this case cruise control and parking brake... my money would be on a failed sensor/signal that is involved in both.

Can you describe all the symptoms in detail of what you exactly mean by "parking brake fit"?

It will help people relate to the problem you are having and make suggestions about the possible causes and thinks you can try.

My 2019 s60 had a fit like this 6 weeks ago. Parked on a steep driveway and the car wouldn't come out of auto break. After several turn on and turn offs. I decided to put it in reverse and drive off the hill any way's(considering I was parked in someone else's driveway after dropping off a kid I coach). This seemed to fix the problem untill a week later when the seat belt warning quit working, srs airbag and, auto brake alarm showed up. First they blamed the repair's from hitting a deer 2 years ago(not realizing they did the repairs). Even had me personally come get the from Lafontaine Farmington Hills Mi Volvo and take the car to Lafontaine collision Volvo in Highland Mi who did the repairs from the prior deer accident. Now Lafontaine collision Volvo in Highland sends the car back to Lafontaine Farmington Hills Volvo to diagnose the problem's(weird). The dealer just told me its $1,600 to repair (Lafontaine Farmington Hills Volvo). They said the cause was the brake pads I put on 30,000 miles (11months) ago. They said I must have broken the auto braking motor's!!! during install and the alarm took this long to show up(I call bull). Also I have a 5year unlimited mile warranty that doesn't cover this? Super disappointed in Volvo.

Now I'm reading about a recall on auto braking problem's.

I feel like I'm getting Robbed.
