Hello again everyone.

I also have two other codes:

- P2015: Intake manifold air control actuator position sensor/switch, bank 1 - range/performance problem

- P2004: Intake manifold air control actuator, bank 1 - actuator stuck open

These two codes are correlated because the actuator malfunction (stuck open) naturally causes an abnormal reading from the position sensor. The component involved here is the intake manifold control actuator.

The code I need to resolve is therefore P2004: Intake manifold air control actuator, bank 1 - actuator stuck open.

Have you ever encountered or resolved this issue? With your experience, where do you think I should start? Do you think it might be related to my EGR issues?

Well, I found out where the problem was coming from! It's the swirl valve arm linkage that's detached. However, I don't see a small ball where to reattach it. Is it possible that the plastic part on the air intake butterfly side is broken? I'm going to buy a good lamp and some brake cleaner to see more clearly.

The air intake actuator arm is broken and the throttle side part is broken too. Do you know if this can be repaired? Or if the entire air intake throttle needs to be replaced?
