Hello! I have Car Volvo V60 2.4dizel hybrid 2016. Does not charge from a 220V network. When testing it gives error obc-p0d6749. The inverter appears to be in good working order (there are no burnt elements, the fuses are intact, the power mosfets and diodes are also intact). When charging from 220 V, charging starts and stops. Batteries are charged from the generator. Can you help me?

I don't know, but AI says:

This error (OBC-P0D6749) means that the charging system is unable to charge the hybrid battery of the car. This may be due to several reasons, such as:

Poor connection between the charging device and the car
Damaged charging cable or connector
Malfunctioning hybrid battery
Damage to electrical components of the charging system, such as relays or sensors

Here are a few steps that can be taken to resolve this issue:
Check if the charging cable and connector are properly connected to the car.
Check the charging cable for any damage or wear and tear.
Make sure that the charging device is working properly and has the correct settings for your car.
Check the hybrid battery for any damage or malfunctions.
If the problem is not resolved, contact a Volvo dealer for diagnosis and repair of the car.

I hope these tips will help you resolve the issue with the electronics of your Volvo V60 car.

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information OBC-P0D6749
Fault-tracing
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) information OBC-P0D6749
Condition
The battery charger module (OBC) monitors that charging can be performed with the correct current rating.
The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored if the control module detects that:
Internal fault. On-Board Charger Module (OBC) cannot charge enough high current.
The control module's test for the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) starts in the event of:
CAN-signal between battery charger module (OBC) and gateway OBC is active.
Note!
The control module can only detect the fault once the test has been started and the diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored
when the conditions are met.
Substitute value
Charging of the high voltage battery is not possible.
Possible source
Charging components are damaged.

Hi, I also seem to have a problem with my Onboard Charger.
the error code is obc-p0d6749
One year ago the charging current dropped fron ~12A to ~6A
First I thougt this is due to cold conditions or because of the battery age.
Now it completly stopped charging.
I bet it is the rectifier of the OBC.
First half of it broke and I guess I was charging only half-cycle / half-wave, then the other half broke too.
Since I'm a professional in electronics, I want to repair the rectifier by my selfe.
To not loose to much time finding and replacing the broken diodes / mosfets or how ever they build the rectifier, I'm looking for someone to tell me what components the rectifier is made of or what parts usually fail.

I hope some one here can help me.
