No standout, they all did what was asked of them.

I follow Carwow and generally like the videos. And some of the off-road tests did show their capabilities quite well. But running a timed off-road track just doesn't make sense, as it all comes down to who cares less about their car, and who is willing to brake it to finish first. But what do I know...in the last 3,5 years my XC60 rarely left the tarmac :)

You can't compare the Porsche Macan to the Volvo XC60
There is an Audi Q5 in the VW group that you can compare to the Volvo XC60. Just like you can’t compare the VW Tiguan to the Audi Q5
Porsche models are class above Audi and Volvo
Just like you can’t compare the Cayenne to the Lamborghini Urus
The Lamborghini is a class above the Porsche
Just like you can’t compare the Audi R8 to the Ferrari or Nissan GT-R
There are simply different classes of cars in Europe that cannot be compared
It is pointless to talk about the prices of accessories, if you want an example you can buy an Audi A7 Sportback for $ 70k but also for $ 140k, or Volvo XC60 for EUR 47k but also for EUR 85k

I'd have to heartily disagree. There are trim levels of the Macan that can absolutely be compared to the Q5, XC60, X3, etc. Just because it's a Porsche doesn't automatically make it incomparable. My Audi S4 runs circles around my dad's brand new Boxster, and while they're not exactly in the same sedan/coupe category, just the fact that it's a Porsche doesn't make it a superior vehicle because he spent $20k more than me and got less car out of it.

And as a matter of fact, I'd even cross shop the Cayenne with a Q7, XC90, X5, etc. Just because the Porsche offers the potential to be better than the competition when you spec it out to the moon doesn't make it untouchable.

They took an XC60 T5 and ran it against a SQ5, and A BMW X3 with the addition of an electric motor. Makes sense
