No washer fluid in back?

My 2018 Xc60 doesn't have any washer fluid coming out of the rear nozzle. Here's what I've checked so far:

  • Washer fluid level is good
  • Rear nozzle is free of obstructions
  • Front nozzles work/washer pump runs when I push the stalk lever forward

Before I make an appointment with the dealer, are there any other obvious things I should be checking?

Had the same issue. Idk what they did, I went for a software update and they fixed the nozzle issue in 5 minutes. I wish I knew what they did.

Is it freezing where you live? Just asking as winter is here for some of us and people forget to mix the fluid with winter specific and the long hose going to the rear runs near the roof and tends to freeze up if it is the wrong mix. Happens here in the northeast often.

I'm in Detroit, and we've had some freezing weather, but my car has been garaged overnight before in a semi-heated garage and still has this problem.

Hi! Got same issue with my Xc60 2018 already twice! First time the dealership tried to convince me the fault is bad quality liquid. That was the moment when I doubted dealership's competence again (Had bad customer service experience before that particular issue). But they were so kind to clean the hose under the extended warranty//
Nonetheless, the problem reoccurred in 5 months (considering I rarely use the rear window washer) as I am to paranoid to scratches), and went to the dealership again. It took them 1.5h to clean the hose again. This time they could not explain the cause (thank the universe no liquid blamed) as well as could not assure the problem is not to reappear. Sensibly, I had to call after sales manager, who claimed they are aware of the issue occurring on XC60 and XC90 because of some kind of powder on inside surface of the hose. To believe the problem is reported to Volvo, however, no solution presented yet. I believe my extended warranty will cease until they suggest any solution.
Besides, do not recommend buying brand new Volvo in Latvia. The only dealer is not bothered with after sales customer service at all.
