New phone - Volvo App not working

I got a new iPhone and now when I open the volvo app it lets me log in, but does not show my car. It wants me to enter the VIN and setup as a new user. Anyway to fix this without totally redoing all of my settings in the car?

If you experience problems with the app now not working or no longer showing e.G. Battery reputation, you can attempt the subsequent: Restart the app. Verify that your Volvo ID is shown within the consumer profile in the automobile. If it isn't proven, log in again. Note that you need to apply the identical Volvo ID inside the car and in the app. Make positive that data sharing is switched on for Volvo On Call. Make sure the smartphone is listed as one of the linked devices inside the automobile. Make sure that Bluetooth is switched on within the car and that it has a terrific Internet connection. Try locking and unlocking the car the use of a key. If you still revel in problems with the app now not operating or no longer displaying statuses, try pressing and preserving down the max defroster button for 20-30 seconds. If the above would not work, contact Volvo Customer Care.

On a related topic.

I recently lost my phone and now have a replacement. My Volvo app is paired with the old phone and I cannot seem to find a way to unlink my old phone so that I can add my new one to my car. ? There doesn’t seem to be a way to unlink my old phone from within the car.

This is a B5 XC60 with AAOS.
