I was putting the carpet back and noticed a loose green connector under the driver seat. Anyone knows what's for? Car is functioning perfectly with no codes. 2012 XC60.

Did you paint the sensors, or does the seller offer color options? Where did you mount the display?
No need to paint. They have different colours to choose from.
I put the display on top of air vents in front of the LCD screen. it's almost perfect size. It maybe hard to see the temperature and vent setting but I don't look at them very often.
I also did not put the wires inside the trim. I ran it in the middle of the seats and connected the power input wire to reverse light wire. For control box, I put it inside the rear left where the fuse box was located. There're some predrilled holes to run wires from bumper.
It doesn't look perfect but worked well functionally.
Get ultra sonic sensors. Don't get the magnetic sensors, they are garbage and inaccurate. Ultra sonic sensors work very well. I found the beep is TOO loud so I tape the small holes near the speaker to reduce its volume.

Ok, thank you. I'll have to figure out another location, since my radio will eliminate that available space. I'm wondering how hard it would be to mount it on the ceiling in the middle by the hatch, only visible through the rearview mirror. I'm sure I can figure out something.

Which wires did you tap into?
I thought power wire was all needed. Now I remember, I tapped into the Reverse light wire at the back where the fuse are located. I used a volt meter to test which wire is live when in reverse and connected that to the power input of the control box. So when I switched to reverse, the unit activated otherwise it's off. We don't want it to beep randomly while driving. I confused the ultra sonic sensors with my dash cam. LOL
