Is there a setting to unlock all doors when I open the driver door?

I've only had our car 3 days now, but there have already been several times when I've gotten out of the car to get something out of the back, but the tailgate won't open until I go back to my driver door and press unlock. This happens whether the key is still in the car in my purse or if I have it with me. If I walk up to my locked car, I can open it just fine, but not if I've just opened the driver door and gotten out. It's super annoying! Is there a setting I'm missing that would solve this, or something I'm doing wrong? Thanks!

This is odd. Is the driver door locked? I can't remember if that's required if you open by hand but it is required if you open by foot.

I don't have this issue as long as I have the key with me. Did you set Settings -> My Car -> Remote Unlock to Unlock all doors? This is my settings and I am not sure if this would help.

Page 216 to 238 is all about locks.

Yes. There is a menu setting.

Thanks - I'll go through the menu settings and the manual. I love all the convenience features, but a part of me misses just manually opening and closing my trunk whenever I want to!

a workaround to try is hitting the button that is to the left of the steering wheel to open the tailgate when you get out of the car, this way the door will already be open when you get back there.

Of course, you need to "hold" the tailgate open button about a second or two - similar to holding the tailgate button on the Key FOB. The same buttons will close the tailgate, too.
