Is Android Auto available on the 2018 XC90 via a Sensus update?

I haven't taken my vehicle to the dealer since my warranty expired and want to know if Volvo ever came out with any updates to Sensus that includes adding Android Auto or any other new features including faster response time or user interface improvements.

If so, is there a way to perform the update myself or do I have to pay for this at a dealer? Is it expensive?
Are there any workarounds to get AAOS to replace Sensus in the 2018 XC90?

I also want to confirm if the XC90 has the ability through the Android App to start the vehicle remotely or preheat the seats. I opened the app and maybe mine is messed up somehow, but there are no vehicle specific details like there used to be in the past such as whether the vehicle is locked/unlocked, fuel tank status, etc.

Nope. 18 was the last year for the older system hardware so it is noticeably slower and they never spent money developing a backwards release for AAOS.

Yes you can use the app to remote start the car. If yours is not doing that and you have paid the subscription I would start with making sure the app is up to date on your phone.
