It appears I'm missing the piece shown the picture. Not sure how or when this came off. I don't think anything is broken but it's hard to tell if something broke cleanly. Does anyone know if this is something that just snaps in?

It looks like part #39846812 for the R-Design model but needs to be painted to match the body. I guess I can order it for $24 but not sure about painting it. It's a lease so I must make it correct and I bet if I ask the dealer to replace it, it will be $200+

The tow hook cover is a poor design (front and rear). A tie wrap mount & tie wrap is a simple and cheap solution for this problem.

My fire department bought a $1.2 million rig in 2018. Overall, it is well made. Nonetheless, it is made by humans and stupid stuff still happens that has to be covered under warranty. I do not care the cost. It is designed by humans, assembled by humans and tested by humans before it is delivered to the end user. As long as you have the human element, nothing will be perfect no matter how hard we try.

I brought it in because my rotors warped and for the missing cover. They are covering everything under warranty and they confirmed that it's not unusual for the covers to go missing. So, I'm pretty happy about not having to pay for it.

I lost mine when I went through a car wash, the pressure was enough to pry it off. The car was only a few months old and the dealer replaced it for nothing. I took the cover off and added a very small piece of duck tape anout 1/4" wide on the stem of the tab that inserts into the bumper, just wrap the tape once. just enough to make the tab fit snug. Did that also with the rear.
