Is there a certain format/process that should be used for the system to recognize the a USB stick w/ media? I have a Lexar 32GB (USB 3/FAT32) that is readable just fine. I'm trying a PNY 64GB (USB 2/FAT32&EXFAT format) that can't be read. I looked at the manual and it said USB 2 is supported but I'm wondering if that's no longer true w/ updated Sensus updates? If you're using a stick that size or larger you mind sharing any tips? TIA.

Per my experience, if the USB stick had previous files in it other than the Volvo map update, it will not work even after a clean reformat. I made the mistake of using my 64 GB stick to download something which I deleted afterwards and did a clean reformat. But when I tried to reuse it to update my map, the USB port in the car will not read it. Had to buy a new 64 GB USB stick for it to work again.

OK, I checked and ours is formatted FAT32 and is 64GB. I have the music in 3 folders on the drive. We had our XC90 retrofitted by Volvo (our 2016 model didn't come with 2 ports) to have the second USB port installed in the armrest for Android Auto/Carplay. That port has a white border around it. The USB stick plugs into the other port and the car is able to read the media.
