Fold passenger seat flat

I had forgotten about the age-old quirk about the seats folding flat in Volvos, but came across a video while trying to learn how to remove a seat motor in our XC60.
It was a little tough to do on the XC60 as the bolsters get in the way, but when I went to check the C70 because I didn't remember seeing the seat back release tabs, sure enough, they weren't there. The head rest buttons seem to be there, but definitely no tabs.

Anyone else have them?

Resurrecting an old thread, sorry, but at least proving I've been reading back: the seats don't fold forward, my assumption is that even if they did the ROPS mechanisms would still be in the way

Wasn't this discussion about the FRONT passenger seat? I remember our V70 with the flat-folding front passenger seat...allowing me to transport a 225 year-old tall case clock!

Yeah, I don't see how ROPS would affect the front seat, though I guess it's possible.

Misunderstood, sorry. Post before mine mentioning the middle part popping out made me think we were discussing the rear seat
