A feature, not a bug

 

Except the footwell lighting is not supposed to happen .

I wish it were the case, one of the things I missed about previous car.

@itestpilot the dim green overhead LED's do stay on; they are convenience lights. There's one above you (the one you reference) and one in the center dome light.

That is so funny. Everyone seems to love it and it does not really bother me, I would like the option to turn it on and off though

 

Definitely. I loved it on my WRX. It had a red LED foot well lighting kit as a accessory package.

 

That sounds real nice with the red dash theme!

 

Funny, because I have blue LEDs all throughout the S60 interior, and would love to have the footwells lit to match the blue Elegance theme.

 

I know my ‘17 has door pocket lights… not sure if it’s a ‘17 thing or an Inscription thing -they stay on all the time but are hardly visible most of the time with black plastic pockets but if you put something light colored in the pocket you can see the reflection… honestly can’t remember if the footwell lights stay on, and will have to wait until it’s fixed to find out at this point

 

It's the accent lighting option. Platinum trim level cars from 2014 onward have it, as well as the S60 Inscription.

 

I am sure I will learn to love it. Wish there was an on/off option though 😁
