Sometime in mid-January/2025, the maps stopped showing traffic information (RTTI). Nothing has changed in the configuration.

This is on a 2019 XC90, pre-Google.

Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

Just in case, I'll update the map software but I doubt it will help.
I really miss my traffic :(

It came back for me today! It wasn’t working for the past month, but I noticed it while I was on my way home from work just now. I have a 2019 S60.

I'll check it later today. I hope the RTTI came back

Just to close the loop: the traffic info returned as soon as the update completed. All good now!

Of course, it went away again two weeks ago and hasn't come back yet. Very annoying

Same for me as well. I wonder if they decided to stop supporting RTI. According to their MapCare websiite "Life Time MapCare™ will be available at least until 2025."

Anyone has update for it?

Mine has been out for almost 4 months, although Google have better traffic info, but it will be nice to be able to see it on the dash without having to look sideway to the info center. Plus the Android Auto on my MY19 XC90 isn't the best interface to use...

Real time traffic for Sensus was intermittent late last year and the first 3 months of this year. Been dead since then. The dealer I bought the car from couldn't say when or if it would be back. I get the feeling they've discontinued the service for good but are unwilling to say so.

My 10 year old Garmin with a suction mount still gets traffic and map updates. Volvo's silence is disappointing.

Just realized mine is not showing either on my newer 2022.5 T8 (with Sensus) even though I have it turned on in the settings.

Have both Sirius/XM and Volvo Connected services subscriptions active.

There is a temporary "fix" available, it has to be downloaded to the car with Vida. The fix will be implemented in the quarterly update of septemeber (Q4).
There is a workaround: before shutting down the car, turn off GPS time in the settings menu, set the year to 2024 and turn of RTTI in the navigation menu. After restarting, when the system is up and running, turn on GPS time and enable RTTI. When the car becomes "connected", traffic info will show up after a short while. These steps have to be repeated every time before the car is shut down.
