Ok, it is not complete, but I've exhausted my resources.

So, here are the highlights (factory tuned options) from what I've found based on info direct from Volvo, as well as trying to fill in the holes from used part listings (these numbers are indicated with a ?)

The big takeaways are:
1. The xc70 has an under-sized rear bar from the get go (explains a lot, except for why Volvo decided to do this in the first place).
2. The front sway bars are always bigger than the rear.
3. The xc70 front sway is the same as the v70 rd and the v60 p* (This is why it is unnecessary to replace the front bar).
4. From my limited survey results, the Euro & Aussie xc70 varieties have the same rear sway, so if they are stiffer out of the factory it's not because of the bar.
5. Based on this info, I think that the IPD bar is either a softer material or is way oversized. Nothing out of the factory, even the p*, is bigger than 22mm.

So that is what I know and I'm thinking I might try and get a p* rear sway for my xc70 and see what it does.

I was going to point someone to this thread and realized that there were a lot of dead pic links and that I never did upload photos from the install, so here is a quick pic dump:
Part Numbers:

Link Comparison (FYI nuts are not included with new links, learned that the hard way):

Bar comparison (+2mm thickness and some extra bends):

Brackets and screws that connect bar to chassis (I was able to reuse these)
Ignore the 4 nuts, those are from the links, I originally thought I could reuse them:

All jacked up:

And here is the part list w/ PN:
(1) - 31329635 - Stabilizer Bar
(2) - 30748927 - Stabilizer Bar Bushings
(2) - 31360098 - Stabilizer Links
(4) - 985930 - Stabilizer Link Nuts

To revive this - I found this very valuable and have bookmarked your post.

Would you happen to have an update? Did the 22mm bar on the XC70 meet your expectations? Tasca ghosted me when I tried to buy a sway bar that "isn't correct for my model XC70". But I now may buy from FCP Euro instead.

Where do all you guys order these Polestar parts from?

Would a dealer be able to figure out which P* parts would fit on a non P*, or would a dealer be against doing that?

Perhaps if you had an enthusiast parts person but most are limited to finding the part which matches your VIN. That said, correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems likely that the main difference in a given platform (P2, P3, SPA, etc) would be the end link details.
