Is it just me, or did S.A.M. paint the black moulding a metallic gray color? I think it looks good. This is one bad-ass looking wagon!

I don't know...looks pretty much like my trim looks when it's detailed. I think it's just shiny.

I can't tell if the front dam is the whole piece, or just the black "lips" on the sides.

If you can't get splash guards for the front wheels, at least you can dress up the front side of the wheel well. They look like two pieces, and they do look sharp.

Sure! I've got the cost right here:

It's exactly 3.990 SEK, but that's excluding VAT, naturally.

Can anybody help out with translating this into something that an American bumpkin like myself can grasp?

3.990 SEK would be about 382.07 US dollars. That seems pretty expensive for just those two front extension parts. Someone could spring 120 more bucks and get 17-inch Volvo rims for that much, money much better spent IMHO. The S.A.M. V70 does look good though, but for a price.

Yeah, that's pretty steep. But when you put it into perspective of how much I spent on my factory spoiler, it doesn't seem so bad. But I've REALLY got to stop spending on the frivolous things these days.

It's gotta be more that just the little lips, doesn't it? If you look at the photo above, the entire front bumper is slightly different. The air inlet below the bumper has color matched horizontal and vertical slats, which appear integral, not like the black recessed slats on my US car. In addition, the fog lamps in the photo seem to be recessed, while the fog lamps on my car are flush, at least on the inside. Maybe Euro cars use slighlty different pieces, or maybe this whole piece is a S.A.M. special. Maybe someone from Europe can check their grill and let us know?

The entire front bumper in the picture above is different from the Euro-version.

Hmmm. I dunno. They look very similar to me. They seem to have painted the little cross pieces in the lower scoop on the SAM car (and added the spoiler lips), but other than that it looks like the US and the Euro spec bumpers are very similar if not the same.
