Difference between the TM and TA trip meters?

What's the difference between the two?

Yes, the intent of TA is to reflect your recent mpg. Audi has this as well. I really wish there was a way to display your short and long term mpg as well as recent drive time on the dash without having to go to the menus. I love that you can display all this information on the dash as a default on my Audi.

Thanks for this idea. Just tried it. I think there may be some rounding errors in the exported data. I've got a T8 and with the exported data I'm calculating 52.4 mpg vs. the VOC dashboard which reports 39.8 mpg.

I've only had the car for about two weeks so the TM has never been reset. I notice that for some trips where it reports <0.1 gallons used in the app, the corresponding row in the export lists 0.0. I know that for some of these the engine fired up for brief periods so 0.0 is misleading. I guess over time these rounding errors should even out and I can get a better idea of where I stand mpg-wise.

Regardless, very happy with the vehicle so far. Much more luxurious and much better mileage than my Chrysler Aspen Hybrid although I do miss the eighth seat.

I remember someone else posting about rounding errors in the VOC export back before I had ordered mine. It's weird because VOC itself clearly has the right data (otherwise you wouldn't see MPG numbers as precise as 172.4 MPG or whatever). They must just be using too few sig digits on the export or something.

Yeah, sounds about right. Interestingly, the delta between the first and last odometer readings matches the summed up trip distance data. So the rounding is evening out there. So perhaps the number I'm calculating is actually fairly accurate. If so, I'm even more impressed with the car than I was an hour ago.

Well I just tried that. But I can't see my own car on the list...
You will see it after your third fuel up, as indicated here, under "Why isn't my car listed in the Browse Vehicles section of the site?"

My Lexus has one of the fuel meters reset automatically after you fill up. Love not having to reset it manually. Oh well. I'll get daily fuel millage numbers vs weekly/bi-weekly.
