Hey all! I'm a professional detailer. I've been detailing cars for many years and have a side-hustle detailing business. If anyone would like to ask general questions about detailing, ask them here and I'll do my best to answer.

Cheers!
Any thoughts on appropriate product to keep door seals/interior weatherstripping in good shape? I had looked at 303 Products Rubber Seal Protectant - not very expensive, seems to be in use a lot. I have a 2019 S60 R-Design, and I'm just going over the car little by little to keep it looking new. Just wondering what the pros use for this.

Any good UV protectant would be just fine. Stay away from Armor All and Chemical Guys, though... those products are trash. 303 Products is good... I use their "Areospace Protectant" on all plastic and rubber. Good stuff.

Hello! What a wonderful thread to come upon. Just bought a 2026 V60 and am just thrilled! Now that I am older, 71, I will have time to properly care for the car with my own hands but I am not sure where to start. What would you recommend a care schedule should look like and I see you have recommended some products above but would you mind teaching me about what a nice little cleaning kit should include for someone who is pretty much a beginner? If it matters I live in Los Angeles and the car will live on the street. Thanks again for your generous information already provided above!
