I know dashcams have been covered to death on this forum however I still unable to find a consensus on which fuses to use, whether hardwiring will kill the 12v battery and the cam itself tripping the safety intelligence sensors. Maybe I'm over worrying.
Anyways my brother was in an accident and his dashcam protected him against false acquisitions. This was the deciding factor, so I purchased the miofive over the fitcamx. I found the below link from volvo. So even volvo fits their oem dashcam right next to the sensors and they tap into fuses 15 and 57. I hope this article helps others with their install. I'll be installing my dashcam this weekend.
