I just bought a used 2004 S60.

The driver's door creaks a little when I open it. Should I use WD40 on it or is there something better?

White lithium grease is the correct grease to use for metal to metal contact in this situation. I reccomend 3M in a spray can. Applying WD40 will wash out any original grease, it will also not last as long and you will have to apply much more often.

Any white Lithium spray or tube grease made for door hinges.
Apply liberally, (spray inside the doors, etc) wipe off the excess.
You may have to to this a couple of times.
