Coolant leak- what part is this?

Hi all- '15 V60 2.0. Pretty decent coolant leak, so I pop the engine cover off after doing some reading on this site and start looking at stuff. All of a sudden, I see coolant on the top of the transmission housing. I'm staring at it trying to figure out where it's coming from and all of a sudden I see a little bit of liquid glistening on top of what appears to be a plastic or metal connector that has a tiny hairline split. I can't figure out where this piece goes or what it is. Any help identifying it would be appreciated- thanks! This is looking from the top on the right side just above the transmission housing.

Thanks

Brian

Here is the exact part: Volvo Coolant Pipe - Genuine Volvo 32382362

It wasn't very difficult but you do have to take the manifold off...still not too difficult. Mine just hit 100k miles so while I was in there Inreplaced the thermostat too...super easy.

Beware: My one error was my hand somehow hit a turbo coolant line and broke the plastic endpiece near the front of the engine. So, Inhad to replace that and it was a borderline soul sucking experience of trying to get my hands into places not fit for a cat's paw. Eventually got it done, but don't make my mistake.

This was the line I broke by accident. I still have PTSD from that job. That plastic end is sitting right out in front and is an easy thing to bump. Volvo Turbocharger Coolant Line - Genuine Volvo 32222278

I had the same job done a couple of days back and it goes as follow:
- Part Volvo Coolant Pipe - Genuine Volvo 32382362
- Remove the admission manifold.
- Disconnect all the harness wiring in the front of the engine.
- Disconnect the thermostat pipes.
- Loosen up the water pump enough and pull the defective pipe.
- Assemble everything back.
- Top up the coolant.

The hardast part for all of this is burbing the coolant system to remove the trapped air bubbles. If not done properly, the engine will overheat and leave you stranded.

I’m in the middle of the job, replacing the plastic coolant pipe 32382362. With the right tools it has taken me about 3 hours to get to the point where I have everything off, except… I cannot get the low side quick disconnect to release. I depress it in the center, and feel it click, but when I try to pull it free I can’t budge it. This photo is the lower end of the replacement. I‘d welcome recommendations from anyone who has replaced this part — thanks!
