"City weave" upholstery experience?

Has anyone here had experience with the "city weave" fabric seat upholstery on a V60 or V60CC?

Didn't know this was available in the U.S. until searching about for V60 car... a dealer in Tucson seems to have about cornered the V60 market... dealers in Michigan where I am only have the CC version.

And so noticed that several of the cars in Tucson have the fabric upholstery. Curious about how it wears and cleans.

Absolutely love fabric seats, just wish Volo offered them on all trim lines. They make a nice gray fabric seat on the XC60 too. Fabric is cooler in summer and warmer in winter and cleans up better than leather and doesn't require constant attention like leather does (with creams and lotions).

I have the City Weave upholstery on my XC60. If you can find one with it, go for it. I absolutely love it and it's one of my favorite things about the car. When the Gen II XC60 came out I came
across a picture of Euro spec models with City Weave online and always thought they were super cool and told myself if they ever came to the US I'd buy one.

When I saw it was coming to the US for the V60/V60 CC I figured
that there would be no hope of ever getting it on an XC60. One day while looking for
R-Designs I stumbled across one. At the time, City Weave wasn't listed on the build & price and both dealers
I got a quote from had to confirm it was available. As soon as I found out I could order it I placed the deposit the same day.

I've put 6.5k miles on my car over the last 3.5 months and so far it is wearing great. To clean the outer leatherette portions, I take a wet microfiber cloth and wipe it down. Any dirt or dye transfer easily wipes off.
For the textile portions, I just vacuum them. Even before I had every piece of glass tinted with ceramic tint, they stay very cool and you do not sweat/stick to them like leather.

Thanks for the details here, especially the photos. Slightly wishing these were available with a darker "surround" but your notes re cleaning are encouraging. Normally I rule out "blonde" interiors but this seems a worth exception. My 1998 Audi A6 had dark fabric seats... when I left it for Volvo in 2014 they were still in very fine condition.

I think City Weave looks awesome. Volvo did an exceptional job with the color and pattern selection.

It’s just not for me. I’ve had enough fabric seats in my pre-Volvo days. My RD seat feels like a treat every time I’m in it.
