I am getting Charcoal Nappa leathers, I am wondering if anyone regretted getting the Charcoal headliner or not getting it.

First off, I am getting Charcoal leather because I don't want to have any headache of keeping the leather clean or dealing with jean transfer issues.

I am looking for a brighter interior though, so I am hesitant to get the charcoal headliner which with the roof shade shows as black sunshine.
Benefit of the charcoal headliner is the overall look matches much better without having 2 tone colors.

I went with the Charcoal headliner to go with the Charcoal leather (we have kids, and the Blonde wasn't a good choice, and really didn't like the Amber look). I really disliked the 2 tone color transition, especially how it happened on the sides of the windshield.

But I won't get mine till early June, so it may be a bit before I love it or regret it.. :)

I've got black headliner in both my XC90 and Q7 and after having light colored headliners in all my previous cars before these two (not by choice but because that is all they came with), I'll want cars with only black headliner from here on out. Yes, I like having a black headliner that much. Sure, some interior color combos would not go well with black headliner but for the colors I know I would often go with, black it is.

All that being said, it is a very personal preference and all the advice in the world doesn't change what one knows themselves they would rather sit in every day.

We got a great deal on an all blond interior which might be your worst nightmare. I had to buy charcoal mats to hide the dirt, and the contrast of the mats is nice. Some pluses of a blond headliner: has a more open airy feeling, nice contrast with the walnut accents, seems to be easier to keep the far cool in the Dallas heat.
