T5 engine doesn't use copper plugs, you have to use iridium plugs.

Your car has a fuel filter.

Ignition coil in fact may also be the cause of your problems. Your guess about misfire is probably wrong as ECU wouldn't throw a code if several misfires didn't happen.
Pulled the ignition coils out for another resistance test, put them back in randomly and boom car holds 15psi no problem. My head hurts :(

PS, one coil had slightly higher resistances than the others, may kick it out of the pack.

Nice! Obviously you managed to chase the Gremlins away. :)

Probably there's nothing wrong with it.

Lot of work for Zero Gain .
Start with the simple stuff _ Pull Plugs and reduce the Gap .007
140K says it all - go read 40 Post of - S60 R's about weaker Coil packs 85K Plus and many here have gotten rid of a Skip or Power fulling off from tightening the Plug Gap .

My HD Coil Packs I'm able to open up the Gap to .050 under _ Higher Boost .

Tighter Plug Gap will also give a stronger spark . If You read up on the Plugs , You'll find that some Company's Design for a wider Heat Range .
More Eff% Electrode Tip which progresses the Flame Kernel Faster . This also Pin Points the Exact Area of Ignition - Narrowing the Window for Pre_Detonation .

Super High Boost is able to ( Blow Out the Spark On a Plug ) = Working Compression make it Harder .

ps: I have some Coil Packs with only 50K on them : :)
Also OE Plugs with 16,755 miles on them .

pss: You don't even want to Know how many Plugs I have found to be Incorrect !
( New out of the Box ) & ( In the Motor Brand New from the Factory )

Tighter Plug Gap will also give a stronger spark .
"Strength" of the spark is measured by its VOLUME, not by it's length. There is no need to regap Iridium sparks, they are coming correctly gaped from the factory and one should always stick to the OE Volvo plugs (made by Bosch) or high quality OE equivalents (Bosch, NGK, Denso). As long as you have stock turbo you need the same temp rating while with K16 you need one step colder. Spark plugs expected mileage to last is between 60 000 and 100 000 km.

After so many wrong things you have said I would be surprised to see anybody taking your advices seriously.

glad you have this sorted Ben!

As am I!

For those who are interested in buying this tune, I would highly suggest two things to check/replace:

A) Ignition coils. Do a resistance test on them. All this entails is removing each ignition coil and checking resistances. What I did was removed each coil, lined them up, and tested two posts one at a time on each coil, then moved onto the next combination of posts. It'd be handy to have a new ignition coil for a reference, however I merely checked for consistency (one of mine had higher numbers than the other). To potentially & temporarily fix this problem, switch the order of your coils (place them randomly).

B) Turbo control valve, or TCV. When I replaced mine with a new stock one, the shuddering reduced SIGNIFICANTLY and the car even held boost (however very unhealthily). My suggestion would be to indulge in an Elevate or IPD heavy duty TCV. Both of which are cheaper than the dealer (Stock = $110, Elevate = $95, IPD = $85 on sale at the moment for $76), however I went with the IPD as it was cheaper for me living in Canada having to pay more expensive shipping.

Don has been a HUGE help throughout this in helping me identify potential problems, so a huge shout out to him for helping me out.

For those curious, the car put down 213HP & 262ft-lb on the dyno yesterday (I'm thinking the curves could've been higher as I blew charge piping off of my intercooler and it went from 17psi to 10psi :().

Glad your got it all working bro! I could never go back to stock after the tune...brings this car to life!!

I won't get into specifics...lol...but someone out there in a quick newer looking silver 2.0t GTI is wishing that I didn't have a tune lol...bye bye
