I love the 7670b kit from snabb but it's out of stock and I can't find anything similar is there other kits that include stuff for big turbo and big intercooler?

Did the BIG kits come with an engine mount bracket, or did they move the turbo location?

Many ways to put a big turbo kit together. My favorite is the EFR 7163 with a stock exhaust manifold. You can make almost 500 wheel with less cost abs complexity than the 7670. Plan on a significant investment in fuel system and water methanol that don’t come in any kit. 500 wheel HP is a big money investment, but an equal investment in time and patience. Plan on 2 years from start to finish.

Before going down this road ensure you have a tuner lined up and committed to the project.

Both the G25-660 and 7163 are relatively small framed, ball bearings turbos and will spool quicker than a K24 with a good tune.

Notice 30 lbs Of boost & 517 lbft of torque at 3500 RPM and it carries boost all the way to redline. This is with a TF80SC tans BTW. I suspect it would have spooled even quicker mated to an M66.

Good kit. Go for it. Be patient, but you won’t be disappointed.

I have the Milletech 7670 , lots of time as Niel has mentioned and way over 10k. Go with the 7163 imho

I havent gotten it final tuned yet but its fun. Hope to get the fuel system finalized back on the Dyno then the Airstrip

The efr 7163 is a great turbo to go with. It utilizes a great internal wastegate, compressor bypass valve this allows for easy instillation. The snabb inlet pipe and over the engine pipe works well with this.

I personally like the Garret g30-770 a bit better as it’s newer tech compared to the efr turbos. The garret internal wastegate is not as good compared to the efr. So I recommend using a external wastegate welded to the turbine housing but this requires more fab work

The G30-770 is a very nice turbo. I also agree that the EFR has a amazing wastegate resulting in amazing boost control when correctly tuned.

I personally refer an internal WG and therefore would choose the 7163 again, but for those who don’t care or prefer external the G30 has an edge.

Why not a Xona rotor they are crushing it in the Audi world.

I would say that s60rr is the only one who finishes his tunes to the end. I don't have any experiences from hilton but i've heard that he is hard to reach. With gustav is same thing. Very hard to reach and tunes remains at 80-90% and you wont get any revisions after that because lack of communication. It's very sad but what can you do.

I have experience with Gustav and what is written above is true. If he writes back once a month it is a success :) Now I understand why some people switched to s60rr. I am wondering about it myself when I will install a larger turbo.

Does an EFR 7163 pare well with a stock exhaust manifold (i.e. Japanifold) ? At what point in the large turbo end of things is a custom exhaust header warranted?
I shared a Volvo T3 to V-band adaptor design with the community a few years ago (you can dubs it in one of my build threads) that enables easy use of the EFR v-band inlet option. It works great and many have used it. I think Ben may produce them for sale.
