BG 107 RF-7 Oil Treatment

Hello.

I would like to know if the product BG 107 RF-7 Oil Treatment 325 ml can be poured into used 0W-20 engine oil? The oil was changed in the car about. 2000 km ago. Or is it necessary to wait until the next oil change and pour it into completely new oil immediately after the change?

Volvo states explicitly in the manual to not use any additives in the oil. As long as you are following the suggested maintenance schedule (or shorter intervals) and using Volvo 0W-20 RBSO-2AE oil, you will be fine.

Avoid any Oil Additives and/or Engine Flushes. Definitely not recommended.
If you are concerned with carbon buildup, reduce the Oil Service Intervals by half.
