Anyone know where to find the Volvo press release that talked about the "Natural Patina" that you get with Atacama leather? I am about to do a lease return and I want to make sure that they don't ding me for normal stuff.

It just changes color a bit and "blotches.
Starts to look more and more like a baseball glove
Unless you have totally ruined it, they can't get you for anything, normal wear for this type of leather

as in the case of mine...the idiot i bought it from apparently didnt know to close up the windows and sunroof during a rain storm..

Can you post pictures? I have the baseball glove effect, as well as some blotches on the front seats, but I doubt that I have anything like your stuff.

That was on the promotional DVD and was told by the creator of the R Hans Nilsson in Sweden while presenting a black S60R w/ Atacama. I just watched again and he said "it will age with beauty". There was a copy online of that and there was a link posted here. Look into the archive for posts in first half of 2003.
