Just curious.. how’s the quality?

Probably going to vary a lot. It's totally possible to get some higher quality stuff at good prices on places like Ali, but it can be extremely hard to tell in a sea of mostly cheaper low quality stuff.

My opinion is that I wouldn't want to risk my safety on cheap wheels of questionable origin that aren't backed by a reputable company.

Best to check purchase from a seller who sells wheels with multiple positive reviews. I got my wheels from China but not off Aliex. I went on a huge leap of faith where all communication was via WhatsApp and invoicing was through PayPal.

Took about 3 weeks from my image, to their CAD which I approved ,to the wheels arriving to my doorstep. I have put almost 30k miles on them and they still are on my daily S90 to date.

If interested PM me and I will give you their contact and website.

I know a couple of people who have ordered from Ali Ex/Baba without issues. Being in Australia they've been almost a third of the price.

Advice is to try and find the manufacturer on Ali Baba and you can see if they are certified. In China wheel manufacturing is government regulated, so if you're not buying really cheap rims you are more likely to get good quality than not especially if you look out for forged ones.

Check out WOAFORGED / Yizheng Zejiang Industrial Design are DOT Approval certification, they sell a Polestar Edition rim, I don't know if it's a replica or if's a backdoor OEM. Their rims are T6 6061.

I bet your local wheel shops just buy the same and then double/triple the costs. But as always when buying from overseas do your research first.
