So i hate the rims on my 19 S60 T6R and i found some nice TSW 20 by 10s and a deal on some 245 35 v20s. So do you guys think this will fit, and do you think it will effect my factory warranty with Volvo?

willtheyfit.com is your place to go for fitment stuff. It kicks out a nice image of where things will land.

I know, you just punch in current and future specs and it gives you a pretty good idea of where the new ones will sit. Best resource I've come across whenever I'm trying to see how far a different set of wheels will poke.

I took some measurements to see what will fit. I am playing with ideas, I'd like a wheel that fits my brakes without spacer, and go to an 8.5 or 9" wheel.

Now these are sort of estimates, but what kind of space do we have to play with...

(2019 S60 T6 R-Design) OEM 19x8 ET42 wheel with OEM 235/35/19 Pirelli. Looks like the lowest clearance to the upright/spindle is from the tire sidewall, so dependent on each tire, dimensions differ even in the same size.

Inner clearance to the upright: ~22mm
Outer clearance to the fender: ~10mm (this is based on my running 10mm spacers currently, no issues, there is probably more room than that)

32mm to play with, but don't want to rub the upright of course. Would probably want to keep that to 15mm max. Total 25mm close enough to be confident a 9" wide wheel would fit, I'd want to stay as close to OEM 42mm offset, 10mm spacers are just right in look to me, so extra 12.7mm of a 9" wheel with 42mm offset should be close enough. Probably would not want to push it any more outward, 40mm would be my max. 9" is ideal to go to the next up tire size close enough in overall diameter, a 255/30/19, but those seem to look alright on 8.5 wide wheels too, not bulging sidewalls, even if they are not the sweet spot wheel size that opens up more options.

interesting. mine is a late 22’ T8 ER. So 19x8 ET42. But it has 235/40/19 tires.
I did some quick and dirty measurements (full lock to the left to get my hand in there with calipers, eyeballed flush with the upright and measured depth to the tightest spot) I came up with about 14.5 mm between the inside Diameter of the inner wheel lip. The suspension upright curves inboard as it increases in height so I have more room at the tire than the wheel. A 20” wheel would actually be helpful in this case if it wasn’t for the shorter sidewall required and a harsher ride,

The 19x9 et38 would move it outboard slightly, but the width would still put it about 9mm closer to the upright. if my quick measurements are close that is only like 5mm clearance. it would also push it, with that offset to almost 17mm further out. That’s where I’m concerned it will poke out past the fenders. Especially if you are saying 10mm puts it flush.

I think my next step is to 3D print various spacers for mock-up purposes to simulate where they would fall in that range.

To the OP: even with a 20” wheel, I think it would be very difficult to fit a 10” wheel flush from what I’m seeing. That said, I haven’t tried it yet so hopefully someone who has can comment.

Front will rub the fenders when turning if you hit a big enough bump when driving at lower heights. This can be prevented by stiffening coilovers or raising the front in anticipation of a bump/incline if you have bags.

I can't speak for lowering springs, but from what I've seen they don't make much of a difference and I wouldn't expect any issues with them as long as you're a careful driver.

There are no issues in the rear. I can set the height VERY low and nothing rubs.

I hope this gives you some insight on what it would be like to run wheels this aggressive

I re-measured using the inside edge of the wheel, you are right it's closer. Hard to get the caliper in there straight on, but I got about 14mm (24mm - 10mm spacer)

Pictures with the 10mm spacers on OEM wheels, that would be equivalent to a 19x8 ET32 offset wheel. There is def a little more room, there is not a large fender lip on these cars and it's angled. But you probably don't want to get into rolling it. Note my car has sport chassis, sits about 1/2" lower than most, same as the PE models.

Thanks a lot for all the replies. I found some 20 by 9s "Niche M124" and was gonna run 245x35x20s,

but I'm afraid of pot holes leaving me stranded. I think I'm just gonna stick with the 19s but I DEFINITELY want a lower offset. So u guys think I can successfully run a 32 offset with O rub in the back with a car full of people?

Thanks again! Im gonna go with 19x8.5 with a .32 or .30 offset, and i hope Volvo doesnt give me any **** if i file a claim cause i only have 14k miles on my 19. Im damn sure jealous of all the bad ass V60 and V70R owners out there. Ive got a super nice 08 C30R manual im about to list for sale with hopes that someone with a V70R will want to trade
