my original side mirror (UK made from 2009) separated from the plastic backing and suicided on the road
so I replaced it with the best quick cheap option which was a new opened box no name from amazon ($20). not the fake stick-on type, it's the heated glass with backing. fits fine and looks clear and all but optically it's a bit wavy and makes me a little woozy every time I check it.
are the aftermarket options from IPD or other sources any better or should I stick with OEM ? I don't think I can bring myself to pay $125 for new but maybe I can pull just the glass from a junkyard. don't think many yards will want to sell the glass without the rest of the mirror unit.
