Yes, too bad, even though I'd never buy a car that large. Still, they're nice to look at.

 

The Mulberry color is really nice, but it's a shame I'm not in the market for a long saloon like this one. Same reason the ES90 doesn't fit in my wish list. It's interesting they mention the electric range is "around 50 miles". Have they reworked the electric battery and/or motor for this facelift as well?

That got my attention too. But then I realized that this is the European rating.

 

The range on PHEV is not on North American standards. There is no new generation of PHEV technology at this point - there is rumours of it coming at some point but no idea when.

 

Apart from the screen I really think this is such a stunning update to what I believe is one of the best looking sedans out there hands down. Having a 50 mile range is one of my major desires and what I see is the sweet spot for PHEVs. It really saddens me this will not come to the US. This would def be my next vehicle after my current 19" T8 has run its course.

 

I don't know how I feel about Thor's Hammer on the tail lights, but I do think that the rear end overall is better than in the pre-facelift version. I'm still holding out hope that a 60 version of these is in the pipeline somewhere, whether it be hybrid or full EV.
