2010 XC60 T6 AWD - 105k mile service and timing chain

My wife drives a '10 XC60 T6 AWD. We just came to 105k miles, and it's due for a service. The dealership had mentioned during the last service that the timing belt would need to be changed at the next service. However, I'm reading that the T6 has a timing chain, not belt. From what I understand, these are not wear items like the belts are and only need replacement if they are making noise. Is this true? Also, what services should be performed at the 105k service? I don't necessarily trust the dealership now.

Thanks!

The B6304T2 engine in your 2010 model uses a timing chain (as does the B6304T4 in the 2011+ models) and does not require replacement. The B6324S engine in the 3.2 non turbo also uses a timing chain...so unless they're talking the B5254T12 engine (2.5T) that's the only one I can think of that uses a timing belt.

Here's the thing though, I'm fairly sure the first-gen (2010-2016) XC60 never had an option for a 5 cylinder, they all had turbo or non-turbo 6-cylinders and then moved to the new 4-cylinders.

I would call back and ask them to make sure they're looking at the right maintenance schedule.

At 105,000, the service person wanted me to pay for a timing belt replacement also, until I told him, it had a chain in the T6. He then argued he meant serpentine / auxiliary belt, but I figured it's fine as is for now, it hardly has any wear and it saved USD 1,000.

Tool to remove serpentine belt on XC60

Would you have any info regarding Volvo Serpentine Belt Tensioner/Removal/De-tensioner Tool for a 2010 Volvo XC60 T6? or any suggestions/link if you know where can I find this special type? I need to replace the AC clutch coil. Also any Video or steps on this will be much appreciated

Thanks
